Back in York
Back from my epic journey questing along the Leeds / Liverpool canal in a narrow boat. It was rather fun, and probably the most British thing I've done in a long time. Standing on the bow of a aquatic caravan in the pouring rain holding and ice cream and watching a man walking a dog made me feel strangely patriotic. Locks are interesting too (also known as "how to very slowly fall 60ft in a boat").
The only downside is that I missed Maelstrom. No doubt you will all be queing up to tell me how it was totally rubbish because I wasn't there.
