A list that I'll probably never get around to completing tonight:
-Finish that painting
-Clean up after your paints
-Sleep before you wake up at 5AM
-Remember to enjoy it
Up to now I've regrettably distracted my troubled mind by fiddling with AIM and the telephone until 3:35 in the morning.
T-minus >1 hour left of sleep.
So I'm going to force myself to head off to bed. Naturally I'll shoot for that perfect dead-like quality sleep, but I'm positive that I'll lay down for a moment, hear the alarm beeping away, and just smack the snooze button until my fingers go numb. Then I'll feel guilty for not getting things done on time.
*Just like I feel guilty for worrying. And like I feel worried about worrying. Then I'll apologize for worrying so often. This turning into an apology for saying sorry about worrying and for apologizing constantly.
I swear I'm Japanese sometimes.
Now I'm off to start the most emotionally draining week ever. (Second to last week, of course!)
Meh, I'm sure melodramatic statements are a side effect from insomnia. That and an insane craving for 7-11 nachos.
*I could seriously benefit from a Relaxing for Dummies-type book.
