Re: SUBJECT LINES STILL EXIST HERE...I never ever used those...I can't type anything witty adja999 January 11 2012, 15:00:43 UTC
AW! Awesome. Much love for squees!

I went crazy yesterday and posted it around on lj. I have an account on AO3, but somehow I'm too lazy for that today.

Oh, how did I not KNOW this website?! I know a few of TVD and Nina, and Candice, mostly. Because as soon as an episode is over (not before, because even those spoilers I stay away from) I got and check out the stills. I often snag the ones with the girls. I'll admit, I'm a nerd that way. I have Kristin Kreuk, Nina Dobrev and Beth Riesgraf as thinspiration inside my closet. I have Katherine, Elena and Caroline as makeup-model-ideas. And I have given a still of Caroline for my latest haircut. (I'm growing my hair long. I used to have it to the knees when I was ten, and I'm checking if it can still go that long now that I've grown. I'm lucky my mom and I have a speed-growth gene for hair. But I wanted shorter hair in the front, to have that kind of long side fringe Caroline has when I curl my hair.
And yes... if I ever manage to loose those last kilos... I will look like I'm trying to be a third doppelgänger... Oh well. There's uglier to emulate.) (Wow. Rant much? *points to self* fangirl? Me?!)

Hm... Now the code should be fixed. If your screen isn't large enough, everything should be stuck to the left and you'd have a scrollbar. Yeah it's my header. Except it doesn't 'head' anymore. Meh. *shrug*

(Long comment is long...) adja999 January 11 2012, 21:03:25 UTC
Hee hee... Yeah, I draw inspiration from lots of things. Cute actress whom I want to steal hair and body from are some of those things. ^^

Um... I do yoga. I'm not sure what kind. I switched it up recently to a harder level. It's one of those MTV power yoga things you can find. Anyway. I was kind of platauing with the previous and this one is a 50min session and about 40min in I'm always... "What? I'm nuts! Why do I do that to myself!" But I love it, it's the onlt thing I've found (meds included) that relieves my back and I think I feel it helps me be balanced, emotionally, too.
Hot yoga? Is that your expression or something that really exists? I've seen some of the stuff she does when she posed for Seventeen Fitness (I think?) and I definetly do not do handstands. I'm not that far.

Exercizing. I... do it on and off. I'm a lazy bum, and I'm a geek, so... sitting on a chair in front of my double screen is pretty much all the exercise I get some day. But last year I was in Aussie and there every body goes to the gym and there was one just down the hall so I went. And I sort of kept the habit of running this past summer because, back in France, it was super hot (we had out hottest year in a century, i think. Whee! ^^) But yeah... no. I used to take classes. When I was a kid I did dance, judo. I even did a bit of competiton in judo. I too up dance and gym again later on. But mostly with my studies I've moved all over so it's hard to stick to one thing. Since I despise running, I'd rather do something indoors on my own. Ergo, yoga. I'm considering buying an elyptical, because my brother (who's a doctor physical therapy), told me it'd be better on my fucked up knees and back than running (no hitting the pavement).
Hopefully, since 2012 shall be the year I go from student to FINALLY Post gard Graduate and WORKING citizen, I may find my habits again and have a budget for something more than living in my parent's garage. I feel like Xander Harris.

As for diet... I have had stomach issues for the past ten years. (My body is basically an acid factory, and up to nearly two years ago now, my stomach didn't close that well, so... I couldn't lie down without getting mean acid reflux. Lots of fun. Feel free to go back through my old entries probably tagged 'health' or something like that for more gorish rambling details). So my diet is quite regimented by that. I avoid citrus furits and tomatoes, I can only now start to put dressing on my salads again (vinegar. I love it. But it HURTS) I allow myself a pickle once in a while.... See? Fun. So yeah... I looooove red meat. I'm a blood person, definitly. I love tartare and boudin, which are French dishes you may or may not know of (first is raw, seasoned meat and second is... cooked blood in saussage form. I think that's the closest way to describe it) I'm not so much into white meats, but since I eat a lot of thai it's in my diet too. I'm not a fan of greassy foods (fired stuff and too buttery hurts BADLY), and I don't have a huge sweet tooth. And I dislike chocolate (which is bad for the stomach anyway). I know. It makes me not human. Nobody I've ever met doesn't like chocolate. *shrugs* I also don't liek Champagne, and I LIVE in Champagne. I don't drink at all, actually. I guess that's a huge part of someone's diet.

Oh, hair... my is unrully at best. But I've bleached, dyed, redyed it so much that it sort of... got who was the boss. I either straighten it or curl it (when I want to waste an hour...). If I'm too lazy, I put it up. :P Naturally dried, it looks as if I'd let it dry with braids on. Oo VOLUME!!!

What? So... when you look at the lj itself everything is fine, but in an entry it's funky again? Ugh... Shit. I like this layout, but if it goes on I'm going to have to change it. :(

Now that I've rambled about all of this... you show me yours. :P

LONG COMMENTS FLOCK TOGETHER. Oo What? part 1 adja999 January 13 2012, 10:49:59 UTC
Ugh. I hate that too. It happens to me often. Or, sometimes, I'm at the end of my comment and I want to add a "." at the end of my sentence, which requiers using "maj" with our keyboards. So I do, and without meaning to I select half the lines and then I type "." ARGH!!

I'm considering using word each time now, but I'm too lazy.

I know what you mean about it being too fast, I'd enjoy keeping some pauses longer. I guess I don't know anyone around me that does anything else, so... i've stuck with that.
Oh, hm. That sounds interesting. Unfortunately, I live in the butthole of nowhere (it's a very dark place. *cough* bad joke is baaaad). When I get a job, sometimes soon, I'll look if there's anything like that in town... I don't have much hope for it, but who knows? Maybe some people from my chilly country like to sweat... I'm guessing it makes you lose more weight than regular yoga? How many times a month/week do you do that? (YOu know what I hate? Everything costs money. At least with my routine I can do it at home. Granted, I'm twisting around on a mat between my desk and my couch, with my cat swatting at me from time to time because he thinks we're playing, but... it's free!)
I think Nina's been a yogi for a long time and when you've done a sport for so long, you can obviously achieve stuff that you wouldn't normally.

Exactly! That's probably part of the reasons I don't like running. It's always the same stuff, and you're not passing through it in a car, it's even slooooower. I'd rather run in front of a tv.

Eh, sleepy pants. I like it. I'm like that too. ^^

Oooh, I like fish. Well, some of them. The white, common ones tend to feel a bit dry. But if I had to eat salmon every day... I wouldn't be sad. :D
Ah, yes. I've heard cheese is a big French love. I didn't know that we and the italians were the only ones to have such a wide range before I travelled. It's weird. I love cheese.
My mom and I have this thing: we cook (?) some potatoes, either in water or steam them. Then we put this: http://asset.keldelice.com/attachments/photos/565973/original/mont_d_or.jpg?1285187999
in the oven. See, it's meant to go in with the wodden sheet around it. You wait until it's hot, you cut off the top crust (crust? *shrugs*) and you get your cheese with a spoon. Right on the potatoes. With salad. *moans* It's awesome. It's a winter tradition in France. :)
Do you guys do that? It's not really like fondue, cause it's one type of cheese, but yeah. If you ever get the chance, the Mont D'Or could be quite expensive, but it's a very tasty one. ^^

Oh, well... as kids, we're often little piggies. :P

I KNOW, RIGHT? AT LEAST I'M NOT IN DENIAL!! OMG!! A non drinker! Those exist! *passes out*

It's actually okay now? Did you do sth or was I blind before? I'm assuming this is about the layout. Did you mean that as a question? I'm going to assume you didn't. I had done something before. If it got better after a while, maybe it's got something to do with the cache? If you're a geek and know what that means... if not. Well, as long as this works... don't worry about it. :P

Ehh... You know what? When I saw your comments (it's weird, I get them TWICE, each time. And it doesn't seem to be a lj bug, it's just you. Oo So when you go an edit, I have four of them. I'm like HEY, I HAVE FRIENDS!! Huh. Okay, I have one. *shrugs* :P) and the big subject line saying PLEASE PLEASE READ THE EDITED VERSION. I waited until after I saw the episode. Which I just did. After breakfast. Cause it's 11am here. And again Aziraphale (my kitty. If you want pics, you'll have to add me on FB. :P) came to cuddle with me when my alarm went off and... I feel back asleep.

But anyway, I got lucky. I actually haven't read your spoilers yet, because, to have the pleasure of my recent layout change, I read your comment on lj and not in my inbox, so... it's edited. NOw... I may go and check what you mentionnned that was spoilery. Now that i'm sure that if I talk about it I won't spoil you. ^^

Re: OMG THAT WAS A LONG COMMENT DUDE adja999 January 14 2012, 18:23:25 UTC
^^

Two times a week, wow. Do you live close to town? Cause that's my problem. I take art classes for which I have to drive 40-50min one way. That will probably be the town I'll be working in if I find a job. Possibly. And yeah... so, gas prices being what they are... plus the fact that I've sold my car to my aunt when I left for Aussie and now I borrow it from her... not so fun. I'd love to find something closer but I think the only thing I could do is run, do quad races and *looks outside* Oh, and mud wrestling. *nods*

The Mont D'Or looks like facecream? Wow, um... yeah, it really doesn't. It must be the pic. It's got a crust that's fuzzy like peach skin and inside it's just creamy goodness. My stomach just grumbled at the thought because I'm so damn hungry. *sobs* I opened by beef jerky today, my own self treat I got myself. And it's gone bad. There was a tiny hole in the package that no one had seen and... the meat was green. :S I called, they said they'd send me another. But now I have to wait again. I was so excited.

Yes. I get excited over meat. *shrugs* You should see me around blood.

*snorts*

200 types of cheese? Yeah... that sounds about what you'd get in a regular grocery store. From gouda like hard cheeses to creamy stuff to stuff that have fongus in them. I think those are illegal in the USA. Nothing can have live bacteria in them or something. Uh, what a loss, you guys.

I don't get what you mean. I went and check the layout again, and apparently it's still not what I wanted. But at least now with the scroll bar you can get the whole post. You just have to scroll from left to right all the time.
WHICH IS SO DAMN STUPID!! Ugh.
I think I'll have to change again. And that makes me sad.
No I don't think you're blind, but sometimes things show up differently on different computers, so... I dunno.

Or so I hear.

Extra squee: I recieved an order I've placed yesterday. I know I'm insane but... here it goes. I was in Aussie last year for nearly a year, and before that I had an opportunity and went to work in the states for a summer. So I found love: beef jerky, oats and so on. And Vegemite. (UK has Marmite that's quite similar) Everybody in Aussie loves it, and has it for breaky and snacks and stuff. And I was the only exchange student that adopted it. (We were a campus of 45,000, so that makes me the one exception, I think) It's really strong and well... I like challenges. Plus I have a fondness for asian foods, and some of those have very strong, odd side dishes or sauces, so I'm used to 'going for it' in terms of taste. As long as I'm guarantied that it's dedible, I'll try it. (Except maybe maggots. I'm squirmish about eating stuff that's alive. No oysters. I like the sauce, though. But it has vinegar in it. :( )
So anyway, I got two packs of instant oats golden syrup flavored (I made some golden syrup myself, but it's just not quite the same, and it's something we don't have here). Some jerky *nomnomnom*. And vegemite. my mom tried it. She said 'yeah, huh...' and looked at me weird, my dad smelled the toast and said 'nuh huh.' I laugh my ass off as I write this, because my dad is the kind of man who's always saying "you gotta try everything", he makes a point to LIKE everything after a while because he doesn't like the idea of not liking something. He feels it's a loss. Anyway... he couldn't even get near it. *mocks*

Also, side note. I may make a lot of grammatical mistakes. Excuse those, I am French after all. And if something isn't clear, or if you catch a big one, let me know.

Oh, you aren't? Where are you from? (I don't think you've told me. Though, forgive me if I've forgotten. It happens. My mind is... overworked, to say the least. It's thinking of going on strike.)

Yeah, but you're logical. You wanna try everything, but if you don't like it, I don't think you'll force yourself to eat more until you like it because you make a point of liking everything.
That's just weird. It's like we're lacking food or something.
