GUYS, I had a brilliant idea for the upcoming 1905 thing in Milliways.

Okay, one of the reasons it's awkward for Kim to pickpocket in Milliways is that she stands out among all the late 20th/21st century types, so if she steals something, her only real option is to quit the bar ASAP.

From a Security viewpoint- well, Svava wouldn't do much to someone (specially a young someone) if she caught them on their first time. Kim gets caught more than once- well, I can't speak for all of Security, but given other transgressions that have happened, odds are she prolly won't be put in the cells. I've seen people have to do work to make up for what they've done- Kim may get tossed on cleaning duty of some kind.

... Course, if she gets caught, that is.

Steph in my head agrees with this!

-- and notes that it would be work, and Steph would also probably make her eat a good meal and quietly ask Bar to put Kim on Steph's tab for a bit. STREET WAIFS. HEARTS.

Twelve-year-old Jason in my head also agrees with this, because he wants to pickpocket too. But we don't listen to him.

... I miss Bar. I'mma play again soon, swear!

Security team: *discreetly adopts Kim*

Kim: .... This disturbs me on a fundamental level.

Which is to say, we should play!

Security: *bunch of softies, really*

Well, it does fit their whole "if you can't beat 'em, recruit 'em" mentality!

OH much belated PS: Kim and Jason could totally work together, if she decided he was trustworthy enough not to rat her out if he got caught.
