After 13 years...
Livejournal has now turned 18. That means, in the UK, it would be able to drink, and to vote.
I know this little journal has only just hit its teens, but I think it's time it moved out.
It's not just the latest kerfuffle. It's also the thing where it has been silent as the grave over there lately, it just didn't feel like the livejournal I'd spent over a decade refusing to budge from. It felt like it was time to follow the rest of the migrating herd onto pastures new.
There is so much which has happened here over the years. This is all very precious to me. I've migrated it all over to dreamwidth. As backups are super important, and because I have a permanent account, I'm also going to keep it all backed up here. But I'm going to lock it all down, so the backup's just for me.

It's been one helluva ride. Thanks to everyone who's come this far. Here's to the next chapter.
