My first NOTOCON appearance was a blast!
The speakers were well informed, handled inevitable obstacles well ;) , and made good use of their time to inform and entertain their audiences. The hospitality I and my guest enjoyed was exemplary. A good time was had by all. The chance to see brothers and sisters, familiar and new, from all over the country was a far too uncommon opportunity I hope to increase the frequency of in the future when I have more money for travel. Lord knows A.. and I got enough invites, but many factors go into finding A.. a place to stay complimentary, as the hospitality coordinator discovered! Furthermore, the food and the drinks were well done, and handled by a great group of servers.
And some great places are local enough for a day trip, or so. Expect to hear or see from us soon-ish.
And for an unexpected treat, Maleficent made a guest appearance on the limbs of a magnificient beast of woman.

(EDIT: I had a joke down here about criticism, which might not have went over well, so I am taking it off. I simply wish I could have been everywhere at once!)
