Permissions Post: tROLL TEXT and cOMMUNING,
Hey there! So, as many of you who are at least somewhat familiar with Homestuck may know, the characters in that series all have weird ways of typing. In this case, Tavros tYPES IN A, uHH, sORT OF FALTERING MANNER, lIKE THIS, and I understand that some people get a headache trying to figure out what all these crazy trolls are really trying to say. So if you don't want me to use Tavros' troll text when I'm replying to your posts, please let me know here and I will respect your wishes in that regard!
The second part of this permission post concerns another matter entirely. Tavros has the ability to commune, which means he has psychic powers that allow him to control animals. And, as it's discovered throughout Homestuck, this extends to pretty much any animal--even animals from different universes, or animals that are highly powerful, such as Becquerel, a dog who can warp space and time at will and is millions of years old. Yes, we all know that Tavros is a wussy loser, but his power is pretty handy when you think about it.
Now, I've made it so that Tavros' power of communion doesn't affect any of the faerie NPCs in this game, because that would be godmodding and obviously it wouldn't be cool if I did that. But what I would like to ask you all is this: can Tavros commune with your character's animal companion/animal form that they can shapeshift into?
If you would like to answer "yes" or "no" to this question should it apply to you, please reply here and I will respect whatever your answer may be. Although I should probably mention that Tavros will not abuse this power. He only really makes use of it in really desperate situations...or to play card games or roleplaying games. Yeah.
