Hot Dads
Today, I bring you an informal poll. I was watching a show earlier and as hot as the kids are, I was struck once again by how hot the dad is. So I open this up to you, my friends: which fictional dad or dads gets you going "Mmm!"?
I thought of the one that I was watching, of course, and then another one immediately sprang to mind. The former has one child with his girlfriend at the time (now his second wife) he didn't know about until 20 years later, and then two more children with his (first) wife. The latter also has an illegitimate daughter, one he thought was dead until his old flame (ha, that's funny) called him and told him about her. Then he had two accessory children with his wife. Hmm. I see a pattern.
Neither are without flaw; I'm not saying they're perfect. The one isn't even my favorite character. (The other ties for favorite.) I'm just saying they're hot. You can feel free to disagree, of course.
RUFUS HUMPHREY. Passionate, romantic as a teenager, and hopelessly in love with Lily. Wants to be pals with his kids. But man, what a hottie. Especially when compared to the description of Rufus in the books!
Here he is in "dad" mode:
The other "hot dad" on my list is none other than NATHAN PETRELLI (took some self-control not to put the self-assigned middle name in there). Took me about 4-5 episodes to realize his hotness, but once I did, it took off. And, to boot, Adrian is a hot dad in real life, too!
In "dad" mode:
Okay, there's a third--I hadn't thought of him (shame on me!) but I was flipping through Buddy TV's Hottest Dads List, and I found him:
JOHN WINCHESTER. Hotness runs in the family.
OH! I can't believe I forgot this one (twice)!

And in dad mode:
