I spend way too much time on the web. And I visit several sites on a daily basis. Apart from the usual ones of Gmail, LJ, Dragonfly, and Facebook, I also check Amazon daily to see the daily deals and what the items in my cart are priced at today. I read TWoP when there's a recap of a show I like (note to self: check recaplet for "Sam, Interrupted"). I already pimped out "Marilyn's Kitchen" on the "recipe" entry. I want to say something that everyone can enjoy (so not so much with the Chabad.org or Epicurious--not everyone gets the same thrill from a new recipe as I do, and the former is self-explanatory). Okay, how about this? Music and stories.
Joel Katz Music - Joel is a contemporary doo-wop singer. He's been active for the past few decades, but he is still releasing records and appearing in concerts on a regular basis. I've seen him perform and he's amazing! And the website is fun and retro. (And I wonder who designed it!)
Across the Ages - a collection of stories (short novels), original historical fiction. The tag line is "A Narrative Through Time - Fantastical Adventures". There's one story pending right now, but there's plenty to read right now on the site. And this was also designed by someone we all know.
