I'm planning out my final project, a non-linear story that will be online.
I don't have an icon to go with this yet, because Finder keeps crashing on me and I can't open my pictures.
However, let me tell you a little bit about my idea. It'll be sort of a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure thing, interactive in where you as the reader decide where the protagonist goes, what he does next. His name is Jack Advantage, and he wants to be President of Acquisitions of the Family Company. Does he blackmail the assistant? Charm the CEO? Seduce the VP's wife? He's very slick and smooth. And not so much in the oily way, but in the completely awesome way.
I may or may not have gotten this idea from somewhere.
No, life may not be easy. It can be lonely-full of people we think we know, but barely comprehend. Yet we must always remember, it's the challenges that define us best and the obstacles that illuminate what we're truly capable of. We must welcome adversity and embrace struggle, and no matter what we get from life, never give less than 100%. Of course, at the end of every battle-weary day, we fold ourselves into peaceful darkness and find comfort in those gentle words: Good night.
Rip-off? Maybe. Plaigarism? Borderline. Completely awesome in every way? YES.
I've already started gathering images of businesspeople from Getty. The ones without faces so that I don't have to try to match it if I want to use the character on a later page. I'm having fun with this.
I was reading some old entries in
boxofwrong earlier. For research. And looking at pictures. More research. Pure research. I get no personal pleasure at all at looking at all these (mostly at least half-naked) pictures of this guy. None whatsoever.
