Ah, yes. Heartbreaking and yet with that particular brand of Torchwood compassion. Lovely.

It's compassionate and tough at the same time, which is how I see Ianto by the end of season two. She can't be allowed to remember, but there's no reason she should suffer. Glad you liked it and that it rang true for you.

Oh. Ouch. Yeah. That's poignant and painful. It was also one of the plot holes that really bugged me. Thanks for this.

Leaving her with those memories doesn't make sense. The only explanation I can think of is that Jack is projecting his own feelings about Grey onto her situation.

Yeah. It's not like Torchwood has been stingy with the retcon before, and Nikki would be a dangerous security leak. Not to mention, that kind of knowledge without any warning and without any power to do anything is earth-shatteringly cruel. Retcon and closure is so much kinder.

That was so perfect, it should be canon. Do you plan on writing more often?

I'm glad you liked it. I suspect more Torchwood stories will be coming down the line.

This is lovely. The logical conclusion and what we should have seen on screen. It's hard to think of, but this is probably the best resolution for poor Jonah's mum.

I don't know if it was the best resolution for her, but it was the safest resolution for Torchwood and Ianto could at least convince himself it was best for her.

Glad you liked it.
