This week has been foul. Mostly the last half. And mostly at work. I despise working with some people. Like someone who can't show up to his freakin shift or even call in. Hell, I was sick and showed up yesterday and worked my ass off. I was sick today and showed up only to be sent home! At least they know what's going on with me. My rage is nearly spent on silly rants. Simply put, the times I hate my job the most are because of the people there. That's horrible because there are a few people I genuinely love there, but some always manage to piss me off. T.T
Also I did meet some nice girls today, so I can at least say I increased my 'acquaintance' circle. Not so antisocial, eh? I really want to talk more with one girl, her art is amazing O.O. But all and all it's been a week of being sick, stressed, and worried. Lovely.
I have been doodling more of Jeb and I's 'hero' project. And I came up with another story, I think this one is the pure adaptation of the Adi/Skif/Karira/Tremonti story for a modern 'superhero' type world. (I love superheros, give me a break). Also decided I really want to buy some sort of relaxing game in the next few weeks for at school. Something like Harvest Moon...
Just updating the world of live journal. Here's a lovely artist we studied today that I love, Thomas Dewing:
The Lute
There is just so much here. I really want to look at it all day. There could be so many stories to this painting, and I think that's why I really like his work. He is a Tonalist (or something like that) and paints with a lot of the focus on atmosphere and color. I just can't help but look at this and think of an assembly of goddesses or priests or something all gathered around. It seems so mystical.
The Garland
Again, I just love the possibilities here. He also does some lovely portrait work which is worthy of a looksie but I just wanted to post these two because I love the atmosphere and they fit my mood for the night.
