here it goes again
Tomorrow I'm moving to Chicago to start a year of service through Americorps with the National AIDS Fund. This is the first time I've ever left Madison without a fixed date of return and it's exciting but also funny to know that I won't necessarily be "coming home" again anytime soon.
The first stop on this exciting journey is a trip to Santa Fe for a pre-service orientation where I will meet the other members of NAF Team Chicago, revisit some HIV/AIDS basics and hopefully learn a little more about what I'll be doing all year.
I'm almost all packed and ready to go. Should be an exciting time.
