finally updating

Ok, so for anyone that is interested I'm finally going to do any update on what's been going on with me over the last year. So first a quick run down and then I'll go into a little detail about what's been going on lately.

So I finally graduated last december. I have two diplomas to show for it...yeah I said two. For some reason UT decided to just make up a new middle name for me on the first one, so they had to send a second. After that I moved back home to Nashville. Andy and I tried to get an apartment together, but couldn't find one that we could afford and that wasn't in a really bad part of town, so we ended up having to live at home with our parents. I got a job as a manager for Sun and Ski sports. Got into mountain biking. Fell out of fencing. Started working longer and longer hours, but still wasn't making hardly any money. I went from seeing Andy everyday, to about once a week if I was lucky and didn't get stuck at work. After about nine months of that I was finally sick of it and quit my job. I went back to Dick's sporting goods where they made me a manager and now pay me a lot of money. I finally have enough money to pay my bills and afford an apartment with Andy. We found a nice place in Belleview (west side of nashville) that we will be moving into at the end of December. I'm still working really long hours, but at least now I feel like I'm making so head way when it comes to paying off my car and my student loans. Those are the two big things that are keeping me from applying to Grad school. My goal is to have my car paid off early within the next year and then start really paying down my student loan. I want that gone or at least mostly gone before I try to go to grad school.

So I guess that's about it. Overall I'm doing well. The last few weeks things have been a lot better as far as Andy and I go. The stress on not seeing each other had caused a few problems, but we seem to have worked through them for the most part. I think that moving in together will really help things. It was awesome in knoxville, and I'm tired of missing him. Plus come January there is a good chance that I'll be moved to the new Dick's that's opening on the west side of town. That means two things, first our new apartment will be only five minutes away from that one, and second it means a raise.
