Sorry, its been a while since I've updated last. I guess I'm always running around, I haven't had much time to sit around and update. I'll try to fill you all in with this entry. Hmmm ... not much to fill you in on, I guess. This past week was a lot nicer then the one before, being that Recruitment is over with, so I had actual time on my hands. Tuesday was Eugene's and mine's 5 month anniversay, so we went to Lorial Plaza (my favorite resturant in DC), and it was a lot of fun. It's odd cuz it feels like we've been together longer then 5 months, and yet, that it's gone by so fast. I guess that's how a good thing normally feels like to me. We're a good thing. Also, Tuesday was Gilmore Girls, and ugh, what are they doing with Rory's character? I get it, I get it, trying to make her character a little less goody goody, but this is extreme. Man, put her back in school! Wednesday at work I got assigned to my first case to intern on. Its an important one, so I'm really excited to help with it. I love interning at my law firm, being a whistleblower organization, I really feel that I am helping make a difference. Everyone there is so nice, and I really think I am going to come out of the experience with a lot of knowledge on the law process, which is definately a good thing. Also, Progressive Dinner is coming up and I'm getting excited to take on a little. So, weird - I always hate the acknowledgement of getting older. It will be nice to make our Phi Sig famiy grow, though, seeing that the only two people from my family that are still at GW are Karla and I, and we need to expand. This weekend was really nice and relaxing. Friday, I sat around and slowly wrote my fiction story aka every 2 pages I took a break. At night I went to dinner at Pizza Uno's w/some of the oopsies, and wandered around campus, getting stuck in the barricade put up by the FBI cuz of the Anti-War protest being held the next day ... only at GW. Saturday, I slept in and got my first Chipolte of the semester w/Eugene and Matt. Man, those burritos are way to big. Kelley and I, after surviving the most cramped metro ride EVER, went shopping at Pentagon City all day. Many wonderful work clothes were purchased, as well as some other lovelies. Yea, and Kel and I def got the same shoes, and then the same pants and shirts ... but, at least those were in different colors. I'm telling you, you are roomie-style-married to a person for long enough, you start to become them. At night, I hung out with Eug and some of his friends, which is kewl in I-house, but unfortunately, my card no longer swips there. It was fun that it swipped there all last year, even if I only lived there for a month and a half. Today, I slept late again, had some lunch, and made my way over to Gelman's Starrybucks to edit my story. Then, there was meeting, Ivory dinner, ordering of cowboy hats for the upcoming Western Themed Crush Party, and Sex and the City in the 301. Now, I do believe it is time for my second shower of the day, cuz being clean is fun, and some sleep. Nighty night to you.
