I am honestly starting to believe that Law School helps people become alcoholics. It’s not the work that pushes people to drink. At EVERY social event, however, alcohol is not only present, it is the main event. Here is a list of the event I have been invited to this week:
- Sunday - COME OVER TO GET FED, GET WASTED, AND GET LOVED!
ENDLESS BEER, BURGERS, MUSIC, FLIP CUP, BEER PONG, POKER, AND ASSHOLE!
- Tuesday - Join LaLSA for a break, dinner, and/or drinks on Tuesday, Sept.
5th! LaLSA's Monthly Gathering at Guapo's.
- Thursday - Bar Review (a WEEKLY school-wide happy hour) for Sept 7th will be at Ozio Bar located near Dupont Circle.
* AND *
WOMEN'S LAW ASSOCIATION - WELCOME HAPPY HOUR!
Come one, come all...bring friends, male or female, whomever you'd like!
Date: Thursday, September 7th
Time: 6pm-9pm...or as long as you want to hang out with friends, both new & old!
Location: Cafe Citron in Dupont Circle (1343 Connecticut Ave NW, just south of the circle)
DRINK SPECIALS STARTING AT 6PM!
- Saturday - Latino Studen Association BBQ, with the main event being a KEG!
That is FIVE events in one week, all of which are CENTERED around alcohol. I am certain that I notice this because I do not drink, but even people who do must see the ridiculousness in this! I thought that all this crazed drinking would be over after undergrad, but clearly not.
