SCHOOLS OUT FOREVER! (ok, not really - til January 9th)

So Finals are OVER!

They have been since Friday - but I have been busy . . . . being lazy that is. Well, too busy to post.

Friday Dennis and I went to PF Changs for dinner - a sort of celebration for finals being over. Although, Thursday I took a long break from studying. Dennis got off of work at 12pm because of the snow - so we decided to take advantage of him being home early - we went out to lunch at Red Lobster (a whole lot cheaper at lunch time - my meal was 6 bucks) and then at the end of the meal we both spontaneously asked the other if we wanted to go to Borders or the Movies . . . We decided that if a movie we wanted to see (we saw Harry Potter when it came out and Narnia when it came out - my b-day :) ) so all that was left that we REALLY wanted to see in theaters was King Kong (which came out on Wednesday. The movie started about 20 minutes after we got to the theater, so we decided to see it. I like it, a LOT more than I thought I would. It was really kind of sad. What I do not understand about human beings though is that these people made this elaborate trap to catch Kind Kong - they bring him all the way to NY for a show and then when he escapes, they just want to kill him. Why not knock him out with the chloroform again and take him home? Sure it would be expensive - but so is sending the entire military after him. Plus they could just make the geniuses that brought him pay for it. I know that the movie is fake and all, but I feel that we are very wasteful in this country. We waste money, resources, our lives, etc. Perhaps too deep for Kind Kong - but that movie is a whole lot deeper than just a giant gorilla.

Anyhow, Saturday and Sunday were pretty lazy days. I did manage to work out both days. I am trying hard to get into a routine and stick to it - it is so easy to stop the whole routine after missing just once or twice.

Other than that I have just been cleaning the apartment - I want to leave this place sparkling when we leave. I hate returning to an untidy place, plus I have the days all to myself since Dennis is al work and all. Pretty boring I guess, but hey - what can I do?
