(no subject)
Ugh, it was a good thing that our English teacher, god bless her soul, decided to move the deadline of our research paper, which was supposedly due yesterday, to Monday next week - thus giving me ample time to cram every thing this weekend. I have realized, however, that I should really stop procrastinating when I found myself desperately browsing through numerous internet sources and library books, close to tears, and utterly clueless on a sleepless Tuesday night - before I found out that, WHEE, extended ang research paper!. Uh huh, last week would’ve been sheer HELL. So here I am, determined to start working on my research paper despite the many temptations that lures me to do otherwise. HMF.
In other news, I just got home from yet another one of Gio’s basketball games and, WHEW, the PAYA midgets are going to the finals! Apparently, all those late afternoon practices, which I also had to suffer, have been paying off. And you can just imagine the pressure of having to win this game, cause they’d be out of the running for the championships if they lost this match. AAAAND they went against Xavier, which according to my dear brother bear, haven’t lost a single game this season. So yeah, I was such a proud ate. HMF again. Although I sure am glad that the season is almost over, cause then I wouldn’t have to wait for Gio to finish training every fucking day of the week. I can’t remember the last time I was able to go home before 6 pm. Really, the perks of having to drive my own (well, sortov) car is starting to wear out.
Aw, I still can’t believe I put off watching Munich with Krista and Nonoy in favor of my damn research paper, which I have yet to start. The sacrifice was not in vain though, cause I was able to go through most of my sources yesterday. And I cajoled my mum into taking us out to watch either Walk the Line or Munich tomorrow (or BOTH, mwahaha), so I get to save 120 bucks. Looking forward to Brokeback Mountain though. Oooh, cowboys + a lot of gay action = tralala.
