(no subject)
fucked up my fil finals.
fucked up big time.
and i swear im gonna kill ian (our class beadle) if i fail this test.
augh!
apparantly, we were supposed to bring our books cause the short story we were asked to analyze was there, and he wasnt gonna provide us with copies. and being the slob that i am, i refused to bring that horrid book to school, partly because it takes up too much bag space and is quite heavy. pero i wouldve brought it anyway if someone *cough* just had the decency to atleast inform the entire class that devilles wanted us to bring that damned book. augh!
so i was basically book-less, and obviously, i couldnt possibly take the test without it.
7:25. we were frantically running along sec building, trying to find an open xerox machine stall. much to our dismay, we found practically every stall closed, so we had to run all the way from sec to rizal lib (which was still closed by the way.) ooh and damnit, they refuse to open unless its exactly 7:30. augh!
the worst part is, i was sweaty and hot by the time i got back to take the finals. hay, and i hate HATE having to take the test all stressed and panicky and tense. AND i didnt get to finish that fucking test. and oooh, just when i really really needed a good perfect grade.
ian's gonna pay for this.
moral of the story? wala. magdala ng book.
but it wasnt just me who had a fuckin bad day.
three of my blockmates missed their physics finals cause they thought that the test wasnt until 1:30. apparantly, there had been some mix up, and the test was actually from 11:30 to 1:30. and what probably sucked the most was the fact that we spent the entire morning at mcdo, eating some yummy pancakes and watching advent children (courtesy of reggie's psychedelic i-book) when they couldve been taking the test instead!
in retrospect, it WAS actually kinda amusing. i mean, from an outside perspective. ooh, how i wish i could describe everything that happened within that 20 minutes of utter chaos.
so its a good thing that i decided to accompany them to ctc, otherwise i wouldve never witnessed this tragicomedy. heehee. so we were walking along ctc when reggie spotted their physics classmate and i dunno, asked him whether he studied for the test. and then the guy answered, "Nagtest ba kayo? Tapos na." and all of us were thinking that he was simply making this stupid joke to try and scare em. but he sounded sooooo convincing! and after a few minutes of confusion, my panic-stricken blockmates confirmed that thay raymond guy was actually telling the truth - THEY MISSED THE FINALS! oh, it was just soooo surreal. reggie was running after their teacher, closely followed by teary-eyed krista. and i dunno, peter somehow managed to maintain his composure and simply walked toward the small congregation of their equally panic stricken physics classmates who were crowding around sir maquiling. reggie was desperately trying to explain the situation and oooh, it was a mess. their teacher was real nice though, he'd let them take their finals anyway. i mean, i doubt whether any other teacher under the same circumstance would actually allow it, much less give a damn. the thing is, they would have to take the test tomorrow. aw, and they had just about everything planned pa naman. aw.
anyway, we planned on watching a movie after their physics test - the perfect way to end our week-long finals. and we still did, eventhough they still have one more day to go. we watched deuce biggalow (fuckit, i dunno the spelling) to cheer up krista - who just couldnt recover from the day's events. ooh, series of unfortunate events. ha-ha.
hay kinda sad though. this is such a bittersweet thing. i mean, hell yeah ive been looking forward to this sembreak for months but im gonna miss my blockmates terribly! i cant imagine not seeing them for an entire month. i just hope i still get to hang out with them this month cause they really are starting to grow on me.
it just occured to me that i still have to finish my evaluation paper. but who cares, i can easily pull an all-nighter and still be able to sleep decently. and we might go to abi's house afterwards to watch y tu mama tambien. haha, now thats interesting. ;p
