So... Hanzo is the remaining working hardware from my old linux server (squat) which had its hard drives both die the moment I plugged it in.
Well, that was only like 100Gb of mostly anime that I've mostly seen.
Oh, and my .mp3 collection. That really sucked. At least some of it I burned to discs at some point earlier. I'm just too lazy to rip them again, but I should do that soon since the music on my .mp3 player has gotten stale.
I suddenly remembered why I burned them to disc today.
So, I'm going through my backups folder (ieyasu is now windoze again. With hostname switch, of course (: ) on my other computer. I'd just installed NWN again and there's a community patch that's like 300 Mb. So I decided to hunt around for the installer that I know I've downloaded a couple times before (at least).
>> "Hey, I wonder if I stuck it in this D:\Backups\squat\home\aaron folder..."
Now, I'm pretty anal about organizing things on my computer(s). Anime goes in /stash/aaron/anime. Manga goes in /stash/aaron/manga. Music...well, that's a lot to move, so I just left it in my homedir.
If you use *nix, you might see where this is going...
See, I had run out of space on my hard drive (20Gb). No big deal; I got a 250Gb and installed Vista on it. Then I was gonna reformat my old hard drive and put it in the linux box under /home. So I backed up the 80Gb onto my brand spanking new 250Gb. Then I decided that I'd back up /home before I moved it, just to be safe.
But man, that's a lot of L'arc.
So I burned (most of) it to discs and then backed up my homedir.
You know, just in case when I plugged in my linux box, I released the magic smoke.
So yeah...I'm going through this D:\Backups\squat\aaron\home folder and come across a folder named music.
