my CA yelled at On-san and I for chatting >:C

It snowed approximately one foot today, which is crazy. The strangest part of the storm-lightning and thunder-occured during Environmental Civics. With each magenta lightning strike, gust of wind smacked against the windows or thunder clap, my entire class paused silently to stare at the window. One girl joked about how the apocalypse was now, and another whimpered "I want to go home" under her breath.

I wasn't able to get out until the sun had almost set because I was busy all day long doing exciting things like talking to people through my mailbox.

This picture is a perfect example of why I want Photoshop.
Contrary to popular belief, I actually enjoy snow. I love how snow soaks up all noise except for the crunching of it under your feet as you walk, and how serene the world looks under an even, white blanket. What I cannot, stand, however, is the aftermath of a snow storm, like people's boots muddying up otherwise pristine walkways. Ever since I was small, I have forbidden my family from walking through our front yard at home to maintain my own personal Winter Wonderland, viewable best from the living room window. Snow is gorgeous when it has first fallen, but we humans muck it up.

Over winter break, I plan on getting subtle blonde highlights, and I am considering cutting my hair, but am unsure of exactly what I want to do. I am thinking perhaps something chin-length, with a side part and swoopy bangs, but I don't know how bangs would look and I fear my hair is too thin for a side part. Suggestions, anyone?
