Somedays aren't yours at all...
I've suspected that my Reading Culture lecturer is a bit of a geek for some time now, what with his weekly references to Anime and the Tardis, but today he mentioned the Flying Spaghetti Monster so I am now convinced that I've probably bumped into him online in some fannish community somewhere! Though this does mean he might look favourably on my idea to write my essay on the re-popularisation of Dr Who! He's very much in my good books today though, as I got back an assignment and he gave me a 70, despite saying he rarely gives them out for first pieces of work. *preens*
I am stressed about this essay though. It's like the most long-winded, fuzzyist question ever, which essentially boils down to "Culture is complicated: Discuss" !!! All he's said is that he wants us to focus on one aspect of what we've learned and really pull it apart, but I think I'm more of a general theory writer, so I reckon I'm going to struggle. Ah well, I just have to remember that the first year doesn't count. As long as I pass, it'll be okay!
