1. As I remember it, shortly before you met you had found out you were part black. You're part black! like Hyde on That 70's Show. (actually, I watch that show and Hyde reminds me of you.)

2. I challenge you to sit down with your guitar and write a simple song about all your favorite landscapes.
Or you can just hop on one foot while you tap your head and rub your belly and say, "She sells seashells by the seashore."

3. Green. for turtle.

4. I like all the traits that you have that I feel we share, except you're better at it. Like, talent at music. You're amazing, and I love every single thing you produce, even if you don't. You like to cuddle. You're open-minded. You like a lot of people and are very charismatic.

Oh, and you're a great dancer.

5. I remember the first time we met very clear, as well. You probably remember it, too, because I like to talk about it. It's one of my favorite stories. I remember Zack introducing us on the back porch. I remember the drunk girls, and us making fun of them when they went on the trampoline. I remember us both playing the piano. I played "Close Your Eyes" from Buffy, and I think you played Beethoven. We also played other stuff, though. And my absolute favorite: Extreme Bop-It EXTREME. oh yeah. impossible even if you're sober (and we were the only sober people there).

6. Yeah, this question kind of sucks. I remember always getting questions like these in acting classes. Okay, let me think seriously... You remind me of a whale.

7. Okay, I'm having trouble with this one. Cuz there's one question I always wanted to ask, but it's really stupid. And there's other things I want to know as well. So, I'll ask the 2 most burning questions on my mind.

Stupid one first: Was there ever a time you thought you could like me as more than a friend?

And... How do you write music? Or if that's too hard to answer, how do you feel about the music you write?

First question: Yes. Keep in mind though, I try not to view friendships as an on/off switch, but rather as a sliding scale. So a lot of people are "more than a friend" to me anyway, although those terms become rather meaningless.

Second question: I actually have a lot of trouble writing music. Generally though, my process begins with a vague idea, and then I sit down with it and hammer it out and produce it until it becomes more specifically what I want it to be. This is part of why I'm terrible with lyrics.
