Golden Sun Fandom History Survey
Hello, adepts_gs! How are all you lovely people? I come bearing a survey which I would love to have you all fill out. Your input would be much appreciated, as I'm hoping to put together a fandom history of sorts for Golden Sun Universe, our fandom's wiki. When did you first get into the Golden Sun series?
~ Around, er, 2006 maybe...?
Which GS game did you play first?
~ The Lost Age - it was the first game I EVER bought :)
When did you first start seeking out the fan community in any form?
~ Shortly after starting playing the game, I think.
If you contributed any fanworks, when did you start doing so?
~ I did submit one or two pictures to DeviantArt and FanFiction a long while ago now.
Every fandom has its memorable figures; whom do you remember, and in what time periods(s) were they active?
~ Um...I remember hearing about the Obsession of a Blue Haired Lemurian group whose chatchphrase was "POW POW PICARD!"
How much did/does shipping matter and what did/do you ship?
~ Valeshipping, Lighthouseshipping...<3 Hm, I guess the only one I really don't like would be FelixXPiers, haha.
List any and all GS fansites you went to and where you go now.
~ Here, and sometimes Golden Sun Realm are the ones I visit now. I can't remember all the ones I used to look around.
Which fansite was/is your main one?
~ I used to check Golden Sun Realm like every day, haha. I only really hang around here nowadays :)
What are your thoughts on Dark Dawn?
~ Um, secretly disappointed! The graphics were brilliant and I liked the characters well enough, but it was a little easy and also I was really disappointed that there wasn't much info on any of the characters from the previous games, who they ended up with, and no mention of Felix whatsoever. I thought there were a few details that they should have expanded on, and also I didn't like the fact that even at the end of the game, the eclipse hadn't disappeared and cities were still in ruin. Also Himi had like, no personality at all she was introduced so late, lol. I was hoping for Takeru... :I It had so much potential and I enjoyed it, but not as much as the other two.
