*waves* I'm kind of new here.
I've been working on a Golden Sun fic off and on for the last few years, and recently decided to scrap and retool the entire thing. I'm still keeping the characters and storyline, but my writing has improved vastly and I'm going to change several of the details within.
This is where I'm coming asking for help. Everything else will be contained beneath a cut.
I'm setting the fanfic a few months after The Lost Age. I realise that it will likely be Jossed by GS3, but I don't particularly care. It will star Alex and four OCs, though the GS characters we all know and love will appear throughout.
The OCs are a girl from Vale (Rose), a boy from Kibombo (Blaze; name will be changed), a boy from Garoh (Gale; name will likely be changed), and a girl from Lemuria (Rain; name will likely be changed.) In case you hadn't noticed, I like thematic names.
My first issue comes with our boy from Gale. He's intended to be the young man who encounters Felix's party in the Lost Age; in the story, he is inspired by Felix and his group and climbs Air's Rock to learn Reveal. In the original fanfic, learning Reveal affected him differently than it had Maha -- rather than being permanently stuck in wolfman form, he took that form nightly. I am no longer certain I like that approach. Initially I took it because I'd recoloured some Fire Emblem sprites to be my OCs and wasn't good enough to make a boy a wolfboy. I'm still not that good. As I see it, my choices are as follows:
My second issue lies in character classes. Mars and Mercury Adepts both have two different classes; Venus and Jupiter Adepts only have one. I have added two fanmade classes for Rose and Gale (Bowman and Shapeshifter, respectively), but will only be using canonical Psynergy in them. Bowman Psynergy is already settled, but I'm still trying to nail down the spells Shapeshifter might have. So far I've selected Whirlwind, Slash, Delude, Astral Blast, Plasma, and Wind Slash. Can y'all think of any more to add?

- Keep to the original nightly shifting
- Make him perma-wolfed
- Forgo him learning reveal at all
