Golden Sun merch?

Remember me mentioning this? It seems nobody has even heard of this merch before, but here it is, on the back of the map that came with The Lost Age. It was advertised as being obtainable through the star code on the back, but wasn't on the site. Could these images be prototypes? Are there some in storage somewhere, or does some lucky fan somewhere ( Read more... )

Ah, I remember this! That merch is definitely the rewards you (used to) get when you register the game with the Nintendo Star Points system thingy.

You got a bunch of points, as well as wallpapers, screensavers, and so on - I think there was a primitive browser, too. You also got printable doorhangers, and printable cards detailing some of the mechanics of the Djinn and elements system. I may still have the cards around somewhere...I'm sure I printed them off. I'll have a look, see if I can scan them if anyone wants them.

I don't think they're available any more, since the Star Points system underwent bunch of changes - I remember getting them when I registered my copy of game the year it came out, but I've just checked my account on the site and there doesn't seem to be a way to access any of the old downloadables, sadly. :c

With the first game the outer packaging changed a bit, and perhaps the second one too...also various copies of both games have completely different looking instructions booklets, I don't know why but that could be the case. Maybe UK and America had different versions or something? :o

I'm really sorry, I don't have a scanner ==' I took the pics with my digital camera; they were the best I could get but I could take shots of the pieces individually-when I do I'll PM you with the images? (Don't wanna clutter up the comm) ^^
