There was lots of drama at the dorms last night because we were all up running around the 8th floor at midnight and someone realized that there was this guy still outside (who had been out there since 5 pm) and he was sitting on the hood of his car looking up at our building and masturbating. As you can imagine this caused a big commotion since everyone found out rather quickly and people were flying to the windows to close the blinds and turn off their lights and peer out the windows to see if he really was doing what we thought he was doing. I had a great view from my window and I can testify to the fact that he was definitely jerking off right there on the street and he was being a peeping tom and a pervert and whatever else. We sent some people downstairs and they told a few professors who boldly went out after the guy, but he saw them coming and got into his car really quickly and drove off. The police ended up coming and everything and we had two undercover cops out on the street until about 2 am waiting to see if he would come back that night. It was kind of creepy. Of course, due to the heat and the fact that we all have rooms to ourselves there is a tedency to leave the windows wide open with the blinds up all the way and then to prance around the room in little or no clothes in the interest of staying cool, so I´m sure it is a prime location for perverts, especially since the dorms are all girls from the 3rd to the 8th floor. This morning we had another incident with a guy on top of a building across the street standing on the roof with some binoculars supposedly looking into our building. I didn´t see that guy so I don´t know about that, but I definitely saw the dude last night, and it made me all paraniod.
Today we went to the Prado! I liked it, and I was really glad I got to go while I was here. After that I stayed in town with this girl from my other class and we went around and did some different things. It was the first sort of free day that I´ve had in Madrid since that first weekend. I enjoyed walking around downtown. Oh, and guess what! I got my history test back this morning, and I had a 98! I was very excited and proud since I had to take the test (and the class) entirely in Spanish.
