(no subject)
I spent all of today in the car. I drove down to Vero Beach (2 hours) to get my grandmother and bring her back up here to Ormond. She is accompanying me on the flight tomorrow. I must say I am suprised at how well we got along, and I began to think that it was she that had changed. Maybe she became less irritating in her age. But, I began to realize its me that has changed. I've grown up a lot in the past few years, and I have become a lot more patient! good for me:)
We leave tomorrow morning for Maryland:) I'm so excited I could pee! It's just weird because I'm going to be seeing people in my family that I havent seen in a decade!! (that makes me sound super old) We used to vacation every summer in New England in both Cape Cod, MA and Ocean City, MD and so I used to see these people ALL THE TIME, and now I'm going to be seeing them again, and spending the next week, and my 21st birthday with them:) In all, I must say I am STOKED!
The best part about travelling with my grandmother is that she doesnt walk well, so she'll be in a wheelchair which means we wont have to wait in lines or anything...plus, I think she feels bad she forgot me at Christmas time, so shes being very generous today:)
