(no subject)
Well, I have a boyfriend! And he's a fantastic one!! His name is Paul and we work together, have for quite a while too, but just started actually working together on projects recently and then decided that we enjoyed each other's company and that was that! He's so unlike anyone else I've ever dated. He's sweet and respectful and super loving and caring. He will do whatever he can to make sure I'm happy all the time and he's doing a damn good job! We're trying to take things slow, but really not succeeding, lol! We spend all of our time together, spending the night at each other's houses, and can't keep our hands off each other! I'm super happy for the first time in quite a while so life is feeling good.
Work has been about the same, things die down and then ramp back up, and now I think they're dying down a little bit again. I had a couple of things that needed to go out soon but got bumped. We've also been dealing with outages and stuff, trying to find ways to prevent it (part of how I started hanging out with Paul). It's been stressful but I've been through worse!
Life otherwise is pretty decent. I moved into a new town house that I absolutely love! It's a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath, came with all appliances, 2 car garage, fireplace, patio. Nice, quiet neighborhood right off the highway so I have easy access and close to work too. It's a million times better than my old place because I don't have annoying neighbors above me!! I do have people on either side and I hear them occasionally, mostly when they slam their front door or open their garage, so not too bad.
I haven't seen my friends in quite a while. Alisha came to help me move, but Amanda and Luis were too busy to and I haven't seen them in months. I miss them a ton because they're my best friends and really keep me sane! Paul and I are going to minneapolis next weekend to go to a hockey game and are hoping to be able to hook up with them. We'll be there sat-sun so hopefully we'll get some time with them!! I really want them to meet him and vice versa since they're the most important people in my life. Alisha got to meet him and she approves so I just need their OK, lol! Plus, I miss Etienne too, he's growing every day and I'm missing it all!
I think that's about it. Looking forward to Thanksgiving and my 5 day weekend! Next week I have training all week so it's almost like a vacation, at least won't be at my desk dealing with everyday shit. I'm pretty tired so I think that's enough for now.
