I Am Small and on a Search, and E's Got a Feeder for Me to Perch on
Okay, I wasn't going to update. Cause here's what I've been doing the past couple days: watching movies when avoiding work and otherwise doing work or showing up in class. Movies = good (American Splendor is *excellent* really. I felt uplifted watching it. Also watched Metropolis, that was really visually stimulating, and entrancing.) . Class on Southern Europe= good. Chinese Politics= FRUSTRATING. Stats= *yawn*. Plans for the next week: Andie told me people might be planning an event for the state of the union address... Her quip," and we all do a shot every time he says, "axis of evil!" XD Some moments prove grad school is all it's cracked up to be. Also, it looks like there may be a viewing of mary poppins in the works. i gotta see if people i know are going @.@ otherwise i'll be slated to just study :P which is *so* exciting.

In a surprise announcement, EELS leader Mark Oliver Everett, aka E has informed EELStheband.com that the EELS intend to hit the road in 2006! That's all we know for now. We don't know where, when, or how yet, so stay tuned to EELStheband.com for developments as soon as they come in!
OM(F!!!!!!!!!!!!)G Please, let E have a show I can go to. I will likely have to go by myself, but I think I will be brave enough. I can't miss another tour :( Please Santa. I have been such a very good girl. I will absolve you forever for not having given me a pony if you do this. If you don't... I want *two* ponies.
Now, I should go read about chinese bureaucracy. Bleh. I can't wait to be in class with Albert tomorrow. I know this sounds cold, but he was rude tuesday, and I felt really insulted. He was being deliberately mean to Chad, but I'm sure he was including me in his scathing comments. I just felt he was juvenile. He might know his theory backward and forward, but he can't tell his manners from his ass. If people don't make comments as astute as your own, be silent or help elucidate things for them, don't be infantile and chide them... Though, this certainly does explain how some faculty members end up acting like petty children. Hrmm... And this is the line of work I want? Well, I suppose I can manage to act like a petulant teenager amongst whiny toddlers. That's not an out of reach goal.
