Miscellany with a Side of Random
Well Dad's birthday was good giftwise. He liked the card I made a lot, which is good since I managed to be up til like 5am finishing it ;) (ok so that's not just cause of the cars, but, um... whatever ;) ) He was also really taken with the two CDs that i got him. It's rare that I get to surprise my Dad, and those did. he said one os far jazzier than the other work that the guy has done.. the second cd is probably going to be more of a jamaican sound than his other stuff, but still... it's an artist dad likes :)
Am almost done with watching season one of house... I do love the show... and will be psyched to see the season premiere... tho i think book club is going to conflict with it. :/ I haven't even read the book yet. Hrmm. House or book club... I probably should record house ;) is it bad when your life has to work around your tv obsessions? that's never happened to me before.
Went and picked up my season ticket for the football games. Got into contact with Erin about getting them to her. I was all panicked until I picked them up. We don't have pre-season tickets so she's not going to tomorrow's game against texas anyway. There's been so much hype about that game it's *insane*. Literally tickets on ebay have gone fire like 500 apiece on ebay. And since those are *student* tickets people are having to offer loaning student IDs or that people can buy those as well. I am so not going to go near campus tomorrow. This is sounding as crazy as the OSU michigan game. I agree with Cameron, "I hate sports metaphors."
