YAAAAAAAAY!
STEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVE HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLT! :D Got both Disc 2 and Disc 3 of AD at the lib late this afternoon! OMG I am so *excited*! When the guy at the desk went and got them for me he commented to me that he loved the show and watched the marathon of episodes (that I missed *sob*) and how much he loved the one where they were trapped on an escalator :D (oh and i got napoleon dynamite too. but... OMG STEVE HOLT!)*HAPPY BOUNCY DANCING AND GLEE!!!* oh and *SQUEEEEEEEEE*
Also went to see an exhibit of ATC's (Artist Trading Cards for info on them and the ATC process http://www.artist-trading-cards.ch/about.htm ) at European Papers. (Exhibit's called house of cards... If i'd know it was gonna be called that, I'd have actually submitted an ATC for it... and done it on the theme of "Maddy and Daddy..." *giggles* There were some really lovely cards done in many many different styles. I should have submitted some, but I just didn't think mine would have been good enough. Ok, they'd have been fine. There were many there that were *amaaaaaazing* tho :) I think I'm going to have to do some more of these because, well... I want to.
Lastly, Religion is a ridiculous thing so much of the time. Pat Robertson and his comments about Hugo Chavez... WTF? I don't understand how people that want to discuss loving and forgiveness can suggest assasination on a religious TV show?! Great, this is going to do *wonders* for foreign relations in the middle of an already tense relationship. I am so happy that the christian right has a headlock on the republican party. Also, Eric Rudolph's life sentence is making me fight out my feelings on capital punishment. I don't like the death penalty, I reallty don't, but the perversity of of a man getting a plea agreement to stay alive when he had no problem taking lives to protest the taking of lives, irks me. He smirked at victims of the clinics he bombed and of the gay people he terrorized. Oh, yeah, and a local mega-church priest (Rod Parsley of World Harvest Church) has been preaching anti-muslim statements and anti-gay statements. I'm sorry people, but if *this* is how moving jesus's love is... Wow, I think I'm gonna pass.
