The Outstanding Television Awards 2011 - NOMINATION POST
Okay, so I'm crazy. Anyway, every year, one day in July I'm up at some ungodly hour as Emmy award nominations get officially announced. And every time, without fail, I find myself wondering why.
WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY, I wonder, didn't [insert name here] get nominated, why?!?? This is a travesty! I inevitably think. Where is my vote? WHERE IS MY VOTE.
Then I take a gander online and lo! Many people are wondering the same (with lots of gifs involved). So I propose to all of you willing to participate, let us have an equally unrepresentative ~ceremony~ post in mid-September with our picks of good TV! Let us call it, I don't know, (drumroll please)

Anyway, I just think, you know, I watch a lot of television and I often find myself wishing ALL OF THE AWARDS on various shows and performers, but obviously I don't watch all TV. Which is why, I need all of your nominations and votes. Yay!
Please note: this nomination phase will end on June 27, 2011, 6pm EST. Comments will remain screened until that date and time. The most cited names will then be subjected to your voting in a dedicated post, as our Official Nominees, and all nomination comments will be unscreened. This Official Voting Post will go up some time on or around June 29, 2011.

- Let's get this NOMINATION PROCESS started:
- Suggest up to 6 names under the appropriate category headings. You may nominate less, but no more than 6 contenders per category. (Please note that any comments left in the wrong thread are likely to get overlooked.)
- Except where noted, eligibility is limited to shows aired on their first run (anywhere in the world) at any time between July 1, 2010 and June 26, 2011.
- You DO NOT have to make all your nominations at the same time. For instance, you could very well post your Outstanding Drama Series nominees today, and come back later to post your Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Comedy Series.
- You DO NOT have to submit nominees in every single category.
- Categories with 10 or less nomination ballots may not be included in the voting round.
