(no subject)
I wish it would snow.
I got our Christmas tree put up last week. It's plain but it has lights and it really brightens up the room. I put a cardinal on the top. :) I'm basically finished with Christmas shopping. I'm just finishing some jewelry and waiting for a few things to show up in the mail.
Max (garage cat) has renal failure. His kidneys have completely shut down and no one knows why. He spent a few days at the vet's hooked up to machines and then a week at home on meds... He is SO skinny it's horrible. His tests from yesterday came back worse. If his next tests aren't better, there isn't going to be much choice left... He's only 10. It's not fair. :(
My aunt's dad has been in and out of the hospital. Lots of random fluid in his body and they don't know why. It doesn't help that he's still feeling down and this is the first time in over 50 years he'll spend a Christmas without Irma. :(
Why do holidays always suck for the family? Between Thanksgiving, Christmas, and spring break there is almost always at least one hospitalization or death. Sometimes I think we're cursed.
This week I learned that driving on ice is terrifying.
Things with Trav are good. Still loving him living here.
Ferdinand is doing well. He's beefing up a little, actually. He's a little fat but he's also very muscular around the arms. Probably comes from climbing the cage walls all night haha. He also enjoys chasing Little Captain in his hamster ball. It's very entertaining.
This week was crazy at the restaurant. Huge lunch rushes all day and catering orders. Yesterday we made 70 pizzas for a middle school... whew. Good for business though. And hopefully my next paycheck will be awesome lol. It's so nice to be able to work make money instead of sit at school. SOO ready to be done with school! Too bad I have another year or two to go lol. That's what I get for taking a year off.
My shoot for today got canceled and I haven't filled the slot, so today I guess I have a day off. Which is okay with me. Tomorrow I'm doing headshots for a friend's brother, and tomorrow night Travis and I are going ice skating with Brandon and Liz. Liz wants me to teach her and Brandon how to skate haha. It's going to be a lot of fun I think. I love ice skating.
Little Captain likes Travis better than me. Hmph. Hahaha.
