I met a tiny baby kitten yesterday. *squeaks*
I had to go get my beasties some food, which requires a trip to the pet store. Their food is spendy, but they seem to get all they need from it because they are only interested in a little bit of tuna water. Also, Oscar is a big boi. He’s been eating it since he was a baby and when he flops on me, I feel it.
So, I went to the aisle where their food was. That was another lady standing at the end of the aisle. I moved my way down and I heard her murmur something. Then I heard a squeak. She was holding this very tiny kitten up close to her shoulder. An itsy bitsy dark gray baby. So small, I didn’t notice the lady holding her.
“Oh, my, aren’t you just a tiny little bit of fluff?” I cooed, holding out my hand. The baby squeaked again and reached for my fingers with both paws.
While I rubbed that little neck and chin, the lady smiled said, “Don’t let her fool you. She’s really evil.”
I cooed again. “This sweet little baby couldn’t possibly be evil.” And let me tell you, baby was eating up the scritches. Purred SO loud.
I found the food and loaded it into my cart. “Good luck with purr evil here,” I said, getting that tiny chin and making her purr again. The lady laughed.
I punned. In public. Because I was overcome with the cute.
