Hanny Michaelis once was married to Gerard Reve for about eight years, from the late '40s until the late '50s. Apart from that she was a marvellous poet. Her strenght was the simpilicity of her work.

Monday, the 11th of June she died, age 84.

Too bad that no dutch poet seems to be known in Germany really. It was hard once to get Reve, but Michaelis......
Dunno why.
No fuckin' single word from her in our library, which has 1,5 millions of media. Sad but true.
