Got this from marvolomaven and thought it looked like fun. books...I like books

Personally, probably about 50-60

For pleasure: The Birth of Venus by Sarah Dunant
For school: American Jesus by Stephen Prothero....bleh, but I guess that's what I get for being a cultural religion major
3. Last book I read
Hmm, he Figure in the Shadows by John Bellairs...gotta love kid's horror stories once in a while
4. Five books that mean a lot to me
The Giver by Lois Lowry...my all time favorite book, so deep for a semi-children's book
The Birth of Venus by Sarah Dunant...talk about women's issues. Truly a book that I could not put down for days.
The Chronicles of Prydain by Lloyd Alexander...can you tell I love young adult books? My family and I used to read these together when I was younger.
His Dark Materials by Philip Pullman...interesting, because I read the series when I was little and am now rereading them...yeah, much more anti-church than I remember.
I'm not sure what to put for the last one...perhaps the Harry Potter series, because who doesn't just adore Potter?
