Listen to it howl!
The wind was crazy when I woke up. I looked outside to confirm how dreary I expected it to look... The sky (view from the front of the house, where my room faces) from the horizon all the way up was nearly black from dark rain clouds, but the hillside was a bright gold from sunrise... So I grabbed my camera and darted downstairs. By the time I got down there the intensity of the contrast had faded...
(it's small since the original is burry anyway)
When I looked out the back kitchen window, and this is what I saw...
The contrast and intensity of the rays coming from behind that cloud weren't captured too well (will probably play with the image later to see if i can't bring that out a little...)
Then I looked out the front window...
It was just beautiful... I could see the entire arc from my living room window, unfortunately when I set up to take the picture I just couldn't see it in my viewfinder very well, so I couldn't get the shot. Oh well ^_^ Glad I got this!
