(no subject)
Yeah, so it's four in the morning and I have the sudden urge to update this journal.
I've been in school for almost a month and I have to say that I like it. The classes are challenging and interesting (History excepted) and there's tons of nice scenery. I didn't remember the boys being this good looking when I was going to school in Oklahoma!
M-W-F - I have French and History. I usually struggle through French (think my accent trying to pronounce French correctly....Why are you laughing?) and fall asleep in History.
T-Th - I have Music Appreciation, which is interesting. Mostly I go to see Matthew Kien though. I swear the guy is a modern day beatnick. He always comes to class dressed in black, wearing a beret and carrying a cup of coffee. He is also into jazz and blues and is very, very quiet. I'm still trying to get up the guts to sit on the same row. I usually sit behind him. Maybe I'll just bring him some drums and ask him to read poetry out loud for me on stage. Then it's off to Bowling, where I seem to be getting worse the longer I play, and then to English where we're reading Don Juan. Byron is a genius. I <333 it.
I've also started a new job and am going through training. Soon I will be a customer service representative again, but only for four hours instead of eight. Which is a more manageable number. I think I'm going to like it.
Overall things are looking up. I like school (though I have been guilty of skipping lately), I like my job and my family is being bearable. Things are good. *knock on wood*
Also, I wanted to post the icons I made today whilst trying to forget it was Vday. I was going to join a community and post them, but quickly became intimidated by the quality of other people's posts.
