More on my car
So I've been late in posting this, I suppose I took a little break from LJ. Anyway, I worked on my car last weekend and got it driving again. Man was it hardcore, I can't believe we did so much work in a day. Replaced the rear trailing arm with the hub and axle attached to the new one. That made the job a lot easier. To put in the new lower wishbone, we had to raise and rotate the differential so the bolt that holds it in place would clear. Ahh, and guiding the emergency brake cable from the back all the way to the front was fun. We also did the front brakes and rotors, all in all a crazy day.
I must say taking it out for a spin around the block, was pretty damn emotional. I know I was choked up. Also when I was dropping my friend off, God, it felt good to be back in my car, I forgot how much I missed it.
Anyway, turns out I assembled the front suspension incorrectly, so I'll be redoing that today, hopefully getting it aligned tomorrow, and zoomin' off to AZ sometime. ^_^
