i really, really miss my rats. and i really want to get another pair.
however, i know i shouldn't, or really, can't. i can't afford it, and college + living plans make having rats pretty much impossible.
i suppose it's a good thing i sold my cage. once i can afford a critter nation or something ill allow myself to get rats, which is a pretty pricey cage. so then i'll be getting them when i know i'm able to provide for them and give them a good home.
maybe a hamster would be a better idea in the meantime. i dont think i'd like one as much as i do rats, but, they're less expensive to care for, and easier to. they're easier to obtain, they don't take up as much space, don't require a lot of handling every day, and are also a lot more acceptable in terms of getting an apartment with them. also, syrian hamsters are solo.
