Finally Moved In!
Of course, everything that could have gone wrong during the move did go wrong, but the important part is that it is over, and I am HERE. The new place is perfect and gorgeous and waaay bigger than I initially thought. Rooms look way bigger with stuff in them. I have a little more unpacking to do, mostly clothes and hanging up a couple more pictures and art, and then i am DONE. The new neighborhood is much nicer and really beautiful. I've been making frantic runs to BedBath the last two days, so hopefully tomorrow night or the night after I can go on my first run through the new area.
I got Nicole to sign off on my tuition reimbursement, so all I need to do is call up NYU's SCPS and register for classes. I can't wait to start, I actually miss school. I have a feeling I will be getting my ass handed to me if I don't stay on top of the work.
Hmm, what else... oh, weekend in Boston was great! I got to see Jasika and Jules for brunch at Pour House and strolled along Newbury with Adrienne on Saturday during the day, and then Jen, Norbs, and I went to the Sara Bareilles/Counting Crows/Maroon5 show. It was a fantastic time. I was more looking forward to the Crows, but Maroon5 blew them out of the water. Good times had by all. Sunday, we got some 10 cent wings and lunch with Jim and Chris at Whiskeys. Yayyy Boston!
Okay, I think it's bedtime.
