Weekend Recap.
Friday - Bro hangin: Got off work went to Side Pockets to hang with ze Wall. As is whenever we get together, the brainstorming for Ruin commenced, and as usual it was a fucking hurricane of ideas. Sooooo many ideas. This beast will be of a new breed. It is awesome when two people share the same mind creatively. Ruin is about to take a turn for the best me thinks.
After that over to Austin's for a bit of practice and some good ol grillin out. It had been far too long since we had practiced; in the realm of about 2 months I believe. It was good to hear that everything was still tight. Then we sat and just chilled and grilled. It was sweet... got drunk for the first time in well over a month; low tolerance rules.
Saturday - 1st show in 2 months, at good old shea's. Love playing that place. Benefit for Crones. A lot of faces I have not seen in a looooong time. it was good to see them, lots of good times had. Note to self drinking 24oz of whiskey after sleeping a total of 3 hours the night before, smoking a bunch of pot, and then going on stage is fun, until the heat kicks in... thanks to Steve for the 3rd glass in the middle of the set. HAHA!!!! Yaarrrr
