I totally broke down as I was driving out of DeKalb and it sucked. It didn't help listening to David Bazan either.
I called Lauren and we had a short conversation which I think helped get me through the emotional part of it.
I'm totally going to miss DeKalb and I feel like no matter where I had moved (had it been Milwaukee or anywhere else) I would have had the same reaction. It was like breaking up with a girlfriend of 5 years, not because you weren't interested, but because life ok this metaphor is fucking horribly written but you get the idea.
Now I'm trying to set up my new room and it sucks even more than moving itself.
