It would be YEARS before I ever got sick in America. Now? Every 3 weeks or so, my immune system goes haywire thanks to yet another bug the snotty-nosed children bring in, or the TERRIBLE air quality.
My hagwon director is good people, but like every hagwon director dragging her feet on getting me insurance. Thankfully, I don't have to push it because medical care here is 1st world - but also VERY cheap.
So I 'm heading to the hospital tomorrow (hospitals aren't just for serious emergencies here) and requesting an English-speaking doctor and some heavy-duty medicine.
I'm SICK (pun!) of living like this.
