I am betting I ate very well in Maine (localvore, vegetarian, fresh seafood) compared to any food I can purchase in this landlocked mountain town, and I KNOW, from sampling the water here, I prefer the tastes of Maine and Vermont's water,
but all I can think is "Park City" is wicked awesome.
Park City really is.
It is a gorgeous Western sunshine out. Blue sky, coupled by clouds. It poured earlier - the fallen rain smelt so good. While as a New Englander I would never travel any where without a rain jacket, I'm mad now I had to leave my wellies behind. :-)

Currently, I'm at this bookshop & bohemian coffeehouse, serving also tea pots of loose leaf tea. Colorful mosaics, an imitation Tiffany lamp, a starry painted floor flanked by wooden chairs and diner-esque table sets surround me. I love the interior eclecticism. [...] I can see from my seat through the large windows, historic Main Street. The Park City Museum is just up the street, on the same side. [...]
I suspect I will be here a lot, especially given there is a "$2 tea tuesdays" special. :-) [...]
People behind me are chatting up the Boston Globe, there are greeting cards on view from Stowe, Vermont. [...]
How did I get here?! [...]
Oh yeah, kind friend from undergrad, Elizabeth drove me to Park City, and I
...flew in last night from Vermont. [...]
A (free) bus ride away, it is like a museum where I am staying in Park City. Antiques galore, there was an x chair. Just hanging out. So was a photograph of the house owner with Michelle Obama. [...]
Being I am wicked sleepy, and that I work at 9am tomorrow [already!] / I will need groceries, I shall post-tea stroll up Main Street and take the (free) bus to one of the grocery shops in town. Then, I will do my best to manage to stay up until "normal bedtime". All that energy this morning... ha ha, there would be a catch indeed.
Fortunately this morning was when one of my panelists, for the MPMA conference, called me to brainstorm.
I would have been so fuzzy if it were now. :-)
