Alex's Filming
Wednesday August 11 began with waking up early (like 8:45 ish...maybe 9:00 ish) and driving my dad to the office. I hung out there listening to music on my trusty IPod until 12, when I went on over to Emily's house. After knocking and calling her house to no avail, I went back to my dad's office, and got some lunch nearby. I called Em a couple more times, cause I figured she was probably just still asleep, and I hadn't been able to wake her up. So finally, a sleepy Emily answered her phone, and she told me she was home, so I went back to her house. We hung out there for a while unitl Alex's filming, goofing off and talking to her parents. Then it got to be around time to leave for ASU, where the filming of the final scenes of Alex's movie, Murder at Midnight, was going to take place. So Emily and I head off to ASU.
Alex's filming was really really fun. Emily replaced Cassy, who was out of town, and Jon replaced Ian, who was couldn't come for some reason. Then Emily, Ashley, and I would kind of steal Alex's camcorder and record people doing funny things. Good fun. Then, seeing as we had a legit lifegaurd with us, we decided to go play in the ASU fountain. Em and Ash played a trick on us...they went and hid, and scared most the group half to death with worry, and then popped out at us when we walked by their hiding place. WE all got hungry shortly after that, so we all piled into Ashley's car...Megs layed across Tina, Em, and Alex in the back seat. Good stuff.
After filming, I went back over to Em's house with her. We just kind of hung out for awhile, and then I went to sleep at like 4:00 AM ish. Emily couldn't sleep.
Then the next morning (Thursday Aug. 12) We woke up and headed over to XCP for the used book sale. We ended up hanging out with Robyn and Amanda there mostly. It was fun. We talked mostly about Robyn's backpacking 5 week Boy Svout excursion. We had a good conversation with Mr. DiStefano. He's hilarious lol.
After that, Em and I went back to her house, had mac and cheese and slept till like 3:30 PM. I went home around then.
