I read this in the morning.
And then I read it again before bed (and re-read the first part).
And now it is the next day, I am sitting in class (having spent a boring lecture re-reading this and also House of Eros -- your OnTae stories are fucking sexy), and only now do I feel functional enough to even think about what this story does to me.
Awkward question that you don't need to answer and so I am not going to phrase it like a question: I wonder if you have experience with D/s irl. Because... holy fuck, you know exactly what buttons to push.
I'm going to organize this comment because I am in class and that makes me want to be organized. Sub-headings!
Three quotes (really, I'd quote the whole thing but I limited myself to three):
He spins around and stalks closer to Jinki. The younger man is definitely fuming at this point. "I wasn't flinching away, you big sexy idiot...I was just...you make me feel...I can't..."
I love how Taemin is so flustered he can't properly express, and him calling Jinki a "big sexy idiot" is just adorable.
"It's not...giving you orders and tying you up and...making you beg me and...if you knew what goes on inside my head sometimes - " Jinki bites his lip and tears his eyes away from Taemin's face. "I want to do the most...perverse things to you. With you," he whispers finally.
Oh, Jinki... tell me more... *shudders*
Something close to a scream only husked and low and raw comes out of Taemin’s mouth.
Gosh, that's a sexy sound.
On Taemin:
I'm absolutely in love with the way Taemin responds to Jinki. That near-hysterical, lost-my-head, inability to speak kind of submissive response is just... ugh, so beautiful. That kind of love and trust, that willing submission to the will of another person -- just, wow. You capture that so well.
Another thing I want to commend you for, because it shows really spectacular writing on your part, is Taemin's personality outside the bedroom. While he's submissive in bed, it's not like he lets Jinki bowl him over all the time (the conversation at the end was especially touching for this reason, the back-and-forth between equal, consenting partners). Oh, Taemin. <3
On Jinki:
Your Jinki is a submissive's dream. That deep, authoritative voice from low in his chest. So gentle, but so firm. His insecurity about the intensity of his feelings for Taemin are so touching -- he needs Taemin to need it, to want it, just as much as he does.
The fact that Jinki recognized, and researched about BDSM is such a Jinki thing to do. Haha, he would. I'm quite glad that he recognized the kind of overwhelming power-exchange they'd been doing was "advanced stuff". Taemin seems like the type who slips into sub-space quite readily, and that can be a very intense and terrifying experience, especially with someone who doesn't know what they're doing. Jinki is such a good dom for seeing that, and wanting to educate himself.
I'm very, very, very curious about what kinds of "perverse" ideas Jinki has in his head. Really can't wait to find. :)

I like to have some comic relief in there and some poignancy and to me this seemed like his natural reaction. Kind of pissy and flustered at the same time :D

Jinki at this point is not completely okay with the stuff going on in his own mind with this. He's come around to the belief that it's natural to some extent but he's not entirely okay with it, for himself so naturally he's assuming that Taemin's going to be even less okay about it. LOL. Little does he know, Taemin may be the youngest and somewhat innocent but he's not exactly a damsel in distress.
Taemin is (imho) a natural sub whereas Jinki seems to be naturally dominant. He's not a dom in the sense of needing to throw his weight around or to posture. I just see him as when he finally puts his foot down, nobody in the room is going to be willing to argue. I've watched their body language pretty obsessively since I started loving this pairing in videos and over and over again they orient themselves around each other - Taemin always winds up near Jinki as if he can't help himself or bear being too far away from Jinki.
And they do stuff like this...
This picture to me is the absolute epitome of a budding d/s relationship between them. I don't know if they even realize they are doing it and it kills me because they aren't even looking at each other. Yet one can imagine a few moments before - Jinki's hand on Taemin's leg, a slight tug and Taemin drops easily because Jinki wants it. The fact that Taemin's knees are across Jinki's thighs and Jinki's hand gently lingers on the back of Taemin's thigh. As it says in the pic name, subtle but obvious.
Sorry for the ramble.
Taemin goes easily into sub space, but I think this is ONLY because he has implicit trust in Jinki. And Jinki in the Dominant role is, I think, exquisitely attentive to Taemin's reactions and needs. <3 Yes, I felt...irl Jinki is such a smart guy, no way would he not research something like this...LOL.
I love perceptive readers like you and thank you for giving me a chance to ramble a bit over my ideas and thoughts about them. To me Shots!Ontae is very different from Eros!Ontae in that, Onew in Eros has no doubts and knows what he is doing. The real stumbling block there is getting Taemin to trust him.
Shots!Jinki doesn't have the experience but he does have Taemin's trust so the two stories get to explore different aspects of the whole idea of d/s power exchange.
In both cases though, I think Jinki is a very good dominant- I can't imagine writing him any other way though. Thanks so much for reading and for your comment.
I'm sorry I feel guilty I didn't write something longer for call me oppa but I guess I'm too thinky, i have been puzzling over what's going on with Taemin and also Jinki's mother...heh...I think your story is awesome sauce though :D
