Hey Everyone,
I just want to let everyone know that I am ok. My group left London at 9:00, 5 minutes after the first attack. We didn't even know that it had occured until one of the mothers called frantically. I was the first person in our group to find out the details and call home. I had to break the news to the rest of our group, many of them quickly broke into tears. It was extremley surreal, we were so far away from the city and we had no radio, no tv, and hardly any phones. The bus attack occured in Tavistock Square at 9:45, this is within eyesight of my window. The tube attack that most directly affected us occured between Kings Cross and Russell Square stations, these are places that MSU students frequent and only about 2 blocks from our dorm. It was an extremley trying day, reminiscient of 9/11. Luckily all 300ish MSU students have been accounted for. There has been some talk of programs ending early, but I am unconvinced it is going to happen. Right now I am in an internet cafe about 3 blocks from my dorm. This is about as close to our dorm as I can get right now. It looks like we may have to find other accomidations for tonight, maybe at another dorm. All travel plans for this weekend have been ruined, not that I had any. I hope everyone is well. I miss you all. I Love You all.
Amy
