Here is Kelly's interview to Fancy magazine (translated by KellyClarksonFansite):
'I never really been in love'
Kelly Clarkson is busy, busy, busy. Her carreer leaves not much time left for love, but that doesn't mean she doesn't have an opinion about it. Fancy spoke to her about Valentine, first loves and nice butts.
Do you have time for a boyfriend?
-To be honest no. I don't meet a lot of nice guys because I'm always working. But when I do meet someone nice, I'll make time for him. It's been a couple of years since I had a date...
Do you believe in Love at first sight?
- I never been through that but I'd like to believe in it. As a child I was convinced that there was only one 'the One', but now I know better. There are so many people divorced nowadays. Imagine that someone says: 'Sorry but you're only getting one husband and that's it'. You can be in love for years and then meet someone else with who you have that click with.
What does your Mr. Perfect look like?
- I don't date men without a beard. Really, stubbles are a must have! Give me a rough rocker in stead of a young, smooth little boy. I think humour is important too. I fall for guys who make me laugh. A nice butt is a good thing as well...
Any more demands?
- I only had boyfriends who were in the music industry, but I didn't come far with them. It's time to meet some boys somewhere else. My future boyfriend doesn't have to be known in the music industry. I think it would be lovely to come home and not have to talk about music. I wouldn't like it if he doesn't like music though.
What turns you off?
- Guys without a beard. And I hate 'pretty boys'. It would be crazy if a guy spends a lot more time infront of the mirror than me right? Ridiculous. His clothing is not important. But my motto is: Act normal, that's crazy enough.
With what can a guy surprise you on Valentinesday?
- I'd love it if a guy cooks for me. Then we go chilling on the couch and watch a movie. My favourites are An Affair to Remember and Pride and Prejudice, but i can't do that to a guy. I'll probably score more points with a movie like Braveheart. I hate it that I have to sit at home at these kind of days. I could go out for dinner with a cute guy, but then I'll get chased by fans and photographers.
Who is getting a valentinescard from Kelly?
- Haha, no one! I'm single and i would find myself considerable sad if I'd tell someone I love them through a card. I never get card in my mailbox, because no one knows my adress. And that's a good thing. Fanmail gets sent to a different adress.
Tell us about your first love..
- What was his name again? Oh right, Matt! My first 'puppy love'... On my sixteenth I work in a cinema and he was the manager. My world was all about one thing: Matt. He was the first guy I really liked, but I wouldn't call it love. I never really been in love.
Never been in love?!
- Yes. Of course I had butterflies in my stomach, but i don't say I love you to someone quickly. It's hard to find out if someone is really interessted. Are guys in love with me or do they find the glamourworld interessting? I have to jump into the deep to get an answer on that and to check if the relationshop is working.
How do you meant a broken heart?
- By writing songs. Even when you're the worst writer in the world, it works to put your feelings onto a paper. Without a pen I'd have to go to a mental hospital. I don't take revenge on guys in my lyrics. I write everything down and I'm only feeling better by it.

Kelly visiting all of Europe during her My December-tour and of course she will be coming to our cold tiny country. On sunday april 6th she will give a rocking performance in the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam. 'My band and I are gonna make it a party!'
